K. K. Shah Jarodwala Maninagar Science College organized an awareness session on “Road Safety and Traffic Awareness” for students on 16/09/2026. The programme was organized with the purpose of creating awareness among students about road safety, responsible driving, traffic rules, and the importance of making conscious decisions while using the road. The initiative aimed to encourage students to adopt safe road practices and contribute towards reducing road accidents.
The session was delivered by Mr. Amitbhai Khatri, an international road safety luminary, who shared valuable insights and practical guidance on safe and responsible road behaviour.
During the session, Mr. Khatri emphasized the importance of driving safely, following traffic rules, staying alert, and taking personal responsibility for road safety. He explained that individual awareness and responsible actions can significantly reduce risks on the road, even when other road users may not follow safe driving practices.
The students actively participated in and enjoyed the informative and interactive session. The programme helped them understand the importance of road discipline, personal safety, and responsible citizenship.
The college hopes that this initiative will inspire students to practice safe road behaviour, influence others positively, and contribute to building a safer and more responsible society.
