National Science Day Celebration | 27–28 February 2026
The Department of Microbiology & Biochemistry enthusiastically celebrated National Science Day on the theme “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat.”
The celebration highlighted the importance of women’s contributions to science and their role in shaping a developed India.
Students showcased their creativity and scientific thinking through a variety of engaging activities, including:
- Scientific poster presentations
- Microbial model making
- Stone painting
- Petri agar art
- Scientific rangoli
The event beautifully blended science, creativity, and innovation, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts through artistic expression and hands-on learning.
The celebration inspired participants to appreciate the role of science in society and recognize the contributions of women scientists in building a Viksit Bharat.
